More Sponsors step up to assist Tall Pines - Monday, November 12, 2007
We want to say thanks to the Canadian Forces - www.forces.ca who have come forward to join all the other Tall Pines Sponsors. They will have a tent in the Iron Bridge Spectator Area Vendor Village and be displaying a G-Wagon and hopefully so more goodies. They are also providing us with lanyards that will be used for the identification badges for officials and workers. Also PartSource Canada www.partsource.ca (specifically Philip Assad's store at Albion and Finch in Toronto) has provided Tall Pines with some financial assistance so we are able to purchase lanyards for those taking part in our VIP program and for the media personnel attending Pines.

On Tuesday evening, November 6th, the Seeded Draw for the 2007 Rally of the Tall Pines took place at the general meeting of the Maple Leaf Rally Club in Toronto. The organizers announced that we have 44 entries to-date which is the largest entry list for any event this year in the Canadian Rally Championship. read more...

Less then 2 months are left until the 2007 Rally of the Tall Pines, the last round of the Canadian Rally Championship, takes Bancroft by storm. A new Pizza Pizza restaurant opened in Bancroft, Ontario, home of the event, last November joining more then 500 others across Ontario and it will be ready to serve all of the rally fans coming to Bancroft on the weekend of November 24th, 2007. Participants in the VIP program, which is now available for sale, will experience first hand the Pizza Pizza quality which serves always the best food, made especially for their customers as Pizza Pizza will cater the VIP lunch at the Iron Bridge Spectator area. Rally of the Tall Pines Goes Green - Wednesday, September 12, 2007
In an effort to recognize the environmental impact the rally has on the local area, a portion of the entry fees paid by Tall Pines competitors will go towards a donation already made to the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council. The Council runs a Tree Planting program in the Bancroft area and the funds have been applied to this program. The rally organizers have also paid to off-set a portion of the total carbon dioxide emissions from the event. Through the website www.carbonfund.org, the Maple Leaf Rally Club/Rally of the Tall Pines registered for a small business carbon dioxide off-set commitment. read more...
